The Fortress models are equipped with active MEC P&J-style pickups, providing that unique Warwick tone. Construction:

The RockBass Fortress Bass has an Ash body, delivering a bright tone with lots of mid-range clarity. They also feature a bolt-on maple neck, giving a snappy attack with definition to notes so you can stand out in a mix. The Rosewood fingerboard gives a classy-look to the instrument, and feels smooth under the fingers to give brilliant playability.
